Horses and riders compete from the Stud under the guidance of Jane Holderness-Roddam (Olympic Gold Medallist and winner of Badminton and Burghley), participating in Novice to Advanced horse trials, including the top three-day events.
The Stud has excellent facilities, including
horse-walker, outdoor arena, cross-country course, show
jumps and good hacking which is close to several outside
schooling facilities and gallops. The aim is to give horses
and riders the confidence to achieve their goals. We
currently have
Tiger's Eye II, who completed his
first Burghley in 2009 with Alex Peternell, and completed Badminton clear
in 2010.
Cuillan Hills, ridden by
Lucy Dixon, is aiming for CCI 3* this year. Our Italian rider,
Simone Vitullo, will be riding at 2* level this year and has, this
spring, successfully ridden
Tiger's Eye II to gain experience.
These riders will also be bringing on several of our home-bred youngsters in BYEH
classes, BE90 and BE100s, etc.
There is usually a selection of horses for sale, mostly home-bred - see the "Horses For Sale" page.
