COVID-19 Update & News
We would like to assure all our friends and clients that WKS is very much open for business as usual.
We are taking all reasonable precautions to protect both staff and clients and continue to monitor Government guidelines daily to keep everyone safe.
Our new Stud Manager, Harry Thirlby, and his team are currently doing sterling work coping with numerous calls requesting frozen semen to be shipped worldwide, and taking stallions for collection.  We are also taking mares for foaling down.  Owners delivering horses or collecting semen will be required to stay in their vehicles while on the Stud premises.
To minimise contact, and keep everyone safe, we are asking that ALL stud paperwork is submitted by email in advance of arrival at stud.
We would ask that you please respect our guidelines and let’s keep everyone healthy and safe

At West Kington Stud our aim is to breed top competition horses, particularly eventers, with good temperament, soundness and ability.  We feel it is very important to give all youngsters, from an early age, a good basic training in general handling, leading, loading, etc.

The Stud, which is run by Stud Manager, Harry Thirlby, has the following stallions standing in the current stud season:
